Unmarked Studio Pottery Arts & Crafts? Candlestick/Chamber sticks ??
Sadly no markings are present on the base and i wondered if these might be made by
Wardle pottery at all? One does have a four digit impressed number on the bottom
sadly indistinct wondering if these are Arts & crafts in style or are actually period?
Anyway i thought i would show them off here as i quite like them sadly on 4" tall
Thanks For looking.

They are probably early 20thC, but that white (or unglazed) underside seems to rule
out all the numerous art-potteries I was thinking of. Possibly continental.

Thanks again they appear to be glazed whitish in the middle as there are crazing marks but the
edge which it sits onto is unglazed you can see the constituents of the clay in there.

The chip on the foot seems to reveal the body as white clay.
The foot may clean up to white with some cream cleaner.
If it is white earthenware, rather than stoneware (or terracotta),
it instantly rules out many potteries who made art-pottery like this.
