St Ives earthenware jug, Date ? Empty St Ives earthenware jug, Date ?

St Ives earthenware jug, Date ?
4” tall, some line decoration. Thumbed base marks. I’d like to say it was by Bernard Leach as it really is not that well thrown but we won’t go there.
I bought it today and was just wondering if there’s any way to narrow the date down. I was told earthenware continued to late 1940s.
