Jug, no obvious mark, Paul Dennis style?? Empty Jug, no obvious mark, Paul Dennis style??

Any ideas? The only mark on the base may just be a number rather than makers signature. I was thinking the lip and rim look like those I’ve seen by Paul Dennis but it doesn’t have his signature and this detail is the only reason I’ve guessed at him. Any other ideas?!
