Mid Century Modern Vase with Handle - Carstens 1007-27

I have a mid century modern vase with a handle. It is 11 inches tall and 8 inch in diameter. It has a mottled brown and black glaze that reminds me of a leopard and blue glaze under the bottom. The bottom appears to have an impressed number that may read "1003-22" or "1007-22" or after the dash may be 3 digits and may be 225. The glaze has filled the numbers and I have not be able to get a good photo of the numbers, yet. I do not see a sign of any other marks on the bottom. I thought it may be a German vase but have not found a match with the number or design.

Thank you. I think you are correct that it is Carstens. I searched more with that information and found some online with a similar number as what mine has on the bottom. I think the number reads 1007-27 from looking at the others with clearer numbers. Thanks again. Here is what I found.
