Vase JM mark - John Mathieson Empty Vase JM mark - John Mathieson

I have just bought this gorgeous earthenware bottle shaped vase with little lugs either side in an olive green glaze.  It measures about 19cms tall and has a JM stamped in a square on the side near the base where there is an inch of raw clay coming up from the base.  The J M doesn't look like ones I have seen online for Jim Malone which seem to be clearly separated initials.  Anyone any thoughts on who it could be made by.
