Wardle or maybe Bretby would be a good guess, but I don't recall
seeing this particular shape before.

Thank you. I’ve got a feeling it’s Wardle but I couldn’t find it

There's one on ebay (165494480787) listed as Vintage Art Deco Vase Reg No 659168 By B Dice; I'm not sure what it actually says

Thank you Janet.
2 on eBay listed as B Dice Art Deco Style Vase 659168 dating to 1917.
Odd that if you Google B Dice pottery it’s only these 2 pieces which come up. Maybe B Dice were very short lived or it’s the design name.

The registry number does turn out to be 1917, according to the National Archives site, but that's all I found.

Can't find any reference to anyone or anything call Dice.
Maybe someone is seeing a Dice in the unreadable bit of the mark,
which is likely (part of) the pattern name. (Candice?).
Still pretty sure it's Wardle art pottery, as much from the
hand-written way it is marked.
