I do not think so. The Geoffrey Whiting mark is a thicker cross. See the link below. This to our Geoffrey Whiting thread page 2. There one piece with the cross mark on. There is also a picture from his memorial exhibition which illustrates the cross mark. It is quite rare

A number of pieces were sold at auction a few years ago which were bought directly from Whiting's family and had a less crisp cross stamp.
