Chinese export porcelain or repro? USA Great Seal with eagle and shield

Hi,
I bought this plate/dish  this morning as I thought that it looked ( to my untrained eye) like a piece of Chinese export armorial porcelain in the famille rose palette.
Once home I noticed the 13 stars and eagle so then began thinking that it could represent the US coat of arms so did a Google search for ‘Chinese  export porcelain US coat of arms’ and it came up with an eBay listing for a tureen with the identical decoration but no indication of age, other than ‘antique’.
It does appear to be hand-painted , its rather heavy and definitely porcelain.
The only areas of concern about mine are the fact that it has a gilded band around the dish rim which makes it look rather
new, although there does appear to be age-related wear to the centre….
Regardless of whether mine is 20 or 200 years old I still like my piece very much but would be very grateful if anyone could say for sure….

Possibly late 19thC or early 20thC but I'm not sure if it's Chinese. Is it overpainted transfer printed decoration?

I must admit that the wave decoration on the border made me think of Japan initially……but didn’t know if Chinese art also made use of that motif….
Having had a very close look, all the border decoration appears hand-done but the eagle is a transfer with colour applied over.

The ribbon in the eagles’ mouth is hand-painted in its entirety but the feathers appear to be an incredibly fine transfer print.

I suspect a lot of it is transfer printed, so possibly European

Having looked at it with a loupe, you’re spot on.
The border is indeed transfer printed, it really fooled me at first.
I know very little about Chinese porcelain, sometimes a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing .
My investment in it only stretched to £2 so I’m not going to lose any sleep over it.

I spotted one too; a lidded pot. Probably 20thC because of the transfer print and glazed base, but I couldn’t tell if it was early mid or late 20thC

Possibly made by Mottahedeh, which supplied the White House with tourist pieces in the second half of the 20th. But I’d expect it to be marked.
Samson, France, also possible but I think it’s too late for them.
