Thank you Hercules, the South African ones really are very similar, but mine are without the impressed mark. The design and lid shape are very similar - I think you might have it. Well done!

The Mantenga Pottery was set up by an American, Bill van Gilder, who'd once worked at Coxwold, which I suppose gives the Winchcombe connection...
