If they are from Kyoto then they have nothing to do with Hagi ware, except perhaps vaguely "in the style of". It doesn't appear to Hagi clay either.

I've split it from the Hagi ware thread because I've found several of these 'standing cranes' tea bowls, including one with a signed box, which are all attributed to the Seizan Kiln 西山窯, Kyoto. The stamp on this pair looks like the first two kanji characters of the kiln stamp.
I've also split off the bud vase to a thread titled Kyo-yaki Kyoto, because I think it also has these kanji characters

There is always this problem with some Japanese ceramics as what to call them as the distinctions used are areas/cities where things are made.

One description said the family used Tokoname clay because of the iron content, and the white slip looks like the one used on hagi ware, so quite a mixture
