Midwinter -John Russell design?

Sorry wrong heading,should have been Midwinter

"Meadowsweet" on the portobello shape 1967.
Not sure of the designer.

Thanks Denby,shape designed by David Long,pattern is John Russell,only a year run on this 1966/67.

The Portobello shape was one that Roy Midwinter originally planned to be a range free of surface decoration. Basically it was to look like studio pottery but the studio pottery type glazes they had available fired unevenly. "Maple" was the name of a Portobello range without surface decoration but because of high wastage was abandoned.

It would be good to see an image of the mark.

HI Trefor, dont know if you know, there is a similar pattern / shape called countryside.

Midwinter England impressed on base.

No clues there regarding shape/pattern, which is unusual for Midwinter.

After a long online search I only found 1 item(coffee pot) online,makes me wonder how many are in circulation.By the by,flowers are Cow Parsley & Philadelphus.
