Indentifying Vase Please  1955 BU Empty Indentifying Vase Please 1955 BU

Indentifying Vase Please  1955 BU Img_2710
I took a walk today & came across this vase for sale.

It's damaged on the top which is visible but underneath was engraved “1955 BU”.

  Could someone enlighten me with their knowledge what this means / is. I couldn’t help but be intrigued.

We need a photo of the base but based just on the one photo I’d guess it’s German or a Chinese copy

Yes, makes sense. Thank you. I thought maybe it was a Wang Bu copy maybe with BU ending. No Chinese marks.

Looks like a chunk has been broken off the top. No point buying broken items unless they’re very cheap and it’s purely for reference purposes

Thank you. It was more curious about the markings, I didn’t intend to buy, only further educate from you all.
