Pale Blue Stoneware with unusual VH or CH mark - German?
I wonder if anyone can help me identify this potter - I picked these two up at a car boot and have been trying to identify every evening for about three days - it's become my Everest!
Initially from my research, I throught that perhaps the mark looks like an Aldermaston - I thought perhaps Edgar Campden or Mohammed Hamid - but there is no painted pattern at all, so the style looks off. I put this in a group in Facebook, and commenters thought it was not an Aldermaston mark.
They advised the style looks more European, and perhaps German, but I've had no luck with my research there.
Could anyone help me with a maker ?
Alternately, as I’m very much learning about studio pottery as I go, does anyone know where this might have been produced? or have any insights on period / glaze types / styles?
Guidance would be so welcome!

Certainly not Aldermaston. Looks European, maybe German or Swiss or French.
I have one too, and the mark is similar to that used by Charles Hair in France but not quite right as his is normally a written mark with two dots and i don't know if he ever did standard ware. You'd have to ask him
