Mysterious Art Nouveau Bud Vase Makers Mark
1. This Art Nouveau bud vase is made of beautiful Bisque porcelain and measures 6 3/8” in height, with a base width of 4” and a mouth width of 3”. It weighs 9.1 oz, making it a delicate and elegant piece.
2. The vase features a larger, more prominent floral motif that is intricately detailed. What sets it apart is the unique addition of a subtle gold trim that traces over the outlines of every flower, stem, and surrounding features. This gold trim adds a touch of sophistication and elegance to the design.
3. Not only does the floral motif have gold tracing, but the mouth of the vase also features gold tracing around its edge.
4. The neck of the vase displays a peculiar feature. Around the center and slightly up the porcelain, there is a lumpy texture. While it is uncertain if this lumpy design is intentional, it adds a sense of uniqueness and character to the vase.
5. The handles of the vase are designed to resemble branches, adding a natural and organic touch to the overall aesthetic. However, they display the most wear, indicating that they have been well-used and cherished over time. Adding a sense of history.
6. On the bottom of the vase, there is a green mark that appears to be a stylized S with a dot below it. While I believe I am viewing this from the correct angle, for the purpose of proper identification, images of the mark from both top and bottom angles have been provided. Just to ensure that the mark is correctly interpreted.
7. Additionally, the vase is marked with a set of numbers 4952. These numbers may provide further information about the vase, possibly a production or style number.

Re: Mysterious Art Nouveau Bud Vase Makers Mark
Not really Art-Nouveau in style, more classical european.
The mark would be the decorator's mark, or the gilder's
mark if it is in gold.
Probably German or Austrian, or maybe Czech,
late 19th or Early 20thC with that 4 digit number.
