Nice shape, well potted.
I’ve got a feeling I’ve seen a similar one recently and seller was told it had been bought at Dartington Craft centre so could be a Devon or West Country potter.
?
I’ll send photos separately- computer glitch

Re: Purple studio vase VED mark
Looks slip moulded so possibly a hobby potter

Re: Purple studio vase VED mark
I’m not sure if it is slip moulded but I’m not sure how to tell. I can’t see any mould lines and I can see throwing rings tho’ I suppose the rings could be from a mould.

Re: Purple studio vase VED mark
The mould lines would have been cut off and then wiped off with a damp rag (fettling). It’s been fired on stilts because the base is glazed. And the mark is incised rather than stamped (possibly because the walls are too thin to take a stamp) which are all pointers that it’s a moulded pot. A thrown pot would have a thicker base which could be carved to form a footrim or wire cut. An experienced potter would be taught how to glaze without covering the base
