Unmarked large jug Empty Unmarked large jug

Found this jug today,..
.Unmarked large jug 20240411
Unmarked large jug 20240412
Unmarked large jug 20240410biscuit outer, turquoise glaze lining, hand thrown on a wheel. Quite a lots of work has gone into it ... quite large about 30cm tall. Any ideas about the make or period please, finding nothing on Google

I think it’s from the Mediterranean region or Mexico
