Hi everyone.  Any ideas about the maker of this heavily potted porcelain vase. I think it has a porcelain based glaze on top. It feels almost indestructible.

Looks like an ash glaze, but "heavy", and an inscribed mark, implies a hobby potter; and the foot rim looks a bit uneven in the photo

If it is porcelain then that to would probably indicate a hobby potter. Professional pieces made with porcelain tend to be much lighter.
