Vase from US. HP mark - Helen Pincombe?
Confession’s of an addict living in Iowa!
I bought this vase at a thrift store it has an incised HP mark not 100% sure about the artist. I would really appreciate the education about this mark.
It is 111/4” tall by 5” diameter at the widest part, the base is 31/2” diameter. It weighs 31/2lbs.
You can feel it’s throw pottery and you can see in the right light but it’s difficult to photograph it.
The glaze feels silky smooth to the touch. It’s a beautiful piece of pottery.
I don’t know much about the making of pottery sorry if I don’t use the correct words to describe pottery. Learning curves
Thank you for your help from Iowa

No, Its not Helen Pincombe. Not her mark, not her style. There are a couple of other British Potteries that use an HP mark, But nothing similar to this. Have a look at out thread on Helen Pincombe and you will see the difference,

Philpot thank you for looking and the information. It was a long shot for buying it but it was inexpensive and its nice looking. I see a Haven pottery but i don't see other pottery companies with HP.
