Stone carving Figures
Stone carving Figures, 5” tall
Really not sure about these at all - what rock are they? ( alabaster? ), and where are they from ?
At first I thought Latin or South American. Google images seems to point towards Native American Indian. And I did find one Native American Indian example with feet on the base like the woman here - I like that!
Any ideas appreciated. Not signed, unfortunately.
Thank you!

Re: Stone carving Figures
I've not come across carvings like these before, but from their outfits I think South American or Southern USA is likely. The first one looks more Inca style than the second one

Re: Stone carving Figures
They were bought together. Stone looks the same to my untrained eyes. I thought Inca or similar to start with but can’t find anything with quite same headgear or pose.
