BONHAMS THE ART OF CRAFT
https://www.bonhams.com/auction/30034/the-art-of-craft/
Online only sale which ends in 9 days time.
A goodly collection of names of significant potters. But only 2 photos per item and condition reports have to be asked for. One wonders if the sellers are just paying for the Bonhams name value? No photos of the marks, the photos themselves are fairly underwhelming!

Re: BONHAMS THE ART OF CRAFT
An interesting sale Philpot, i think there is something to suit most pockets. The 'Art of Craft' seems it's to be the heading for all of these future mid range timed craft sales . I do buy from Bonhams, their buyers premium is actually a little less than many of the small salerooms but their packing is expensive although the best i have seen.

Re: BONHAMS THE ART OF CRAFT
Prices seem to hold up fairly well in this Bonhams sale.

Re: BONHAMS THE ART OF CRAFT
I am not sure prices were that good Philpot ,with 25% of the ceramics unsold , only a couple of highlights namely the Emmanuel Cooper and hamada's ( Cooper seems quite strong at the moment). The Henderson's were a disappointment with little interest, i think they would have made more in MAAK'S. A number of lots never had condition reports. I think Bonhams have a long way to go if they want to challenge Partridge or MAAK, incidentally Partridge have some interesting lots in their July sale including a personal collection from Robin Welch's studio and some pots by John Ward.
