Milk Jug? (Jug with Pewter lid)
This was my great aunts who was born and lived in the Derby area between 1901 and 1990.
It came to me in a box of things which no-one in the family wanted and has been in my loft for the past 30 years.
I remember being told by my great aunt that it was a milk jug, would love to know if that is correct and who it was made by and what/who the markings are underneath.
I now have it on my kitchen shelf along with other things from the box! TIA

What are the measurements and capacity of it? Size would give its use.

Will be one jug from of those sets of 3 graduated jugs which turn up regularly,
annoyingly never marked. Probably Staffs - late 19th/early 20thC.
