Re: A VAST COLLECTION OF SPECIALIST TILES
A very eclectic collection as most tile collectors tend to specialise in a particular area, i must have met this collector at some point but i don't recall, a few of these tiles have passed through our hands namely some of the delft examples and De Morgan etc. I have a particular interest in one of the Victorian sets which are very underestimated. The 'Bianco Sopra Bianco' Bristol delft tile is superb.

There were bargains to be had there. Lot 849 which went for £90 for instance has an unidentified Eric Mellon tile. There were also a number of Alan Wallwork and Kenneth Clarke pieces.

Loved the Pilkington lustre tiles but out of my budget.
