Fish plate - European maybe? Empty Fish plate - European maybe?

I wonder if anyone can help identify the makerof this fish plate, one of a set of 5. Google image searches bring up  Puigdemont and while I can see why that doesn’t seem quite right - there’s something almost Quentin Blake-ish about the fishes expression in each plate!

Any help appreciated.

I think it’s French or Spanish, similar to Puigdemont Pottery

Thank you - there appear to be lots of potters in this style, but the signature is totally illegible.
