Anyone know anything about Chinese turquoise glazed ducks?

I have this little duck or goose? - beautifully modelled and painted, but can't find out anything definitive about it. Others I've found online have different bases and marks.
I think it says CHINA underneath that splash of red - and the red looks original to the piece.
It's about 11cm high and I think made from a very hard fired porcelain - like Wade Whimsies.

Vast numbers made in China for the export market in the late 20th-21stCs, based on a 19thC design

So why do they go for such relatively high prices? There's a couple of pairs on ebay in the £70-80 region

Being listed for £60-70 is very different from being sold for £60-70. Most are selling at £10-30
