Loos like that 70's naturalistic style typified by Robert Fournier's style and the early 'pebble' work of Mary Rodgers.

Beautiful: inspired by "wonderstone" banding in sandstones I think - the example inthe photo is from the Bilsdean Sandstone in East Lothian, but best known from Kanab, in Utah (see eg https://duckduckgo.com/?q=kanab+wonderstone&iax=images&ia=images )
