Heavy Slipware? Plate Not marked any suggestions???
Bought today this plate its really heavy in weight and reminded me of the Torquay ware colors
that's as far as my limited knowledge is likely to get with this piece :) Wondered if any collectors
recognise the design or company who made it and would love to know an idea of age as well hope that's
not to much questions. It really is heavy 1.7kg and 11" diameter x 1 1/4" high off the table.

Its stoneware. Hence the weight. So that negates anything like the Torquay potteries etc, which were all earthenware. 11 ins would make it dinner plate size. 13in+ tends to be charger display type size. I do not think it is slipware, the decoration being too uniform. Where exactly did you buy it? As often this sort of heavy piece does not travel very far. Often coming from a local pottery.

Possibly a leaf mark, but not one I recognise

Googling i thought it looked a bit like Della Robbia but not the right mark at all just going off the look of the pot.
