Identifying Mere Potter, ED mark
Hi, a new member, collected over the years and still do and I have a few artisan pots which I have failed to identify makers with reference books. Here goes.
Relatively recent find and not an old pot 2006 , numbers one on top of the other to left, with the initials ED, E on top of D and outlined in ‘box’ in centre and Mere again letters one on top of the other, to the right. Attractive orangey red lustre glaze. It is made skilfully. I have photos but cannot work out how to upload them. I am assuming Mere, Wiltshire as it was found Within 20 miles.
Nothing comes up with general googling.
Any ideas?
Will work on the uploading side of things. This is not an easy website to navigate.

Re: Identifying Mere Potter, ED mark
Thanks for response and the initials do match. You might be right or possibly someone who tried to pot commercially and it did not work out.
Well executed, lovely glaze, definitely artisan.
