Jeremy James - Derbyshire

Very little about this guy, even on his own website.

A career spanning over 35 years (as of 2024). Formal training from Norwich, Exeter and Cardiff.
Hand modelled from soft stoneware clay, fired in ageing gas fired kiln, through a high-firing process.
His studio is in Derbyshire.

Most of his work does nothing for me.
But I do really like some of his life-like animal sculptures - particularly the hares!

This one I got last year at a local auction (so paid about 1/4 of the price from a gallery).
