MID CENTURY POTTERY POODLE SQUARE DISH, H MARK Empty MID CENTURY POTTERY POODLE SQUARE DISH, H MARK

This is a stylish dish - looks a bit Italian in style to me and featuring a Poole - very mid century look.  The dish has a nice clear mark of the letter H in a square and the number 34 and then HAND MADE so probably English - does anyone recognise this mark please?
