Polychrome Copper Glazed Bowl - Post Modern?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some guidance on this beautiful and brightly colored studio pottery bowl. I have been searching to no avail and thought I’d ask here to see if anyone recognizes the style?
The bowl measures around 28cm in diameter and around 10cm in height.
It is decorated with a trio of bold colours in a kind of gemotric format. The bowl also has been copper glazed and gives off a metallic sheen over the flanged lip of the bowl.
There are no markings on the bowl, nothing which could offer guidance on maker.
I first thought it might be Japanese, but have since been directed to the US…
Does anyone recognize this style?
Many thanks,
Richard
