Table Lamp ID - Mushroom lamp on aluminium stand

Hello forum members,

I have a table lamp that I am struggling to identify, see photos below, I have three.
It features an opal / white plastic mushroom style dome with vent holes at its peak, supported on two sides with threaded inserts connected to a milled aluminum folded base. The base features two drilled holes, possibly suggesting it was intended as a wall light, but equally nice as a table lamp as I have it. There are no maker marks or any indicator as to whom the designer may have been. Lamp holder and switch are British made. Its a lovely thing.

Is anyone able to identify this lamp please? or any thoughts for further research?

Originally owned by a collector of 1950-1970s design items who also photographed for designers product catalogues throughout the 1960s and 1970s, I recall him mentioning often prototypes were involved and he was often gifted them in exchange for the photography services. I have various other lamps I shall post about in due course!
