Ron Atkin Empty Ron Atkin

Via another ID group -

I've heard back from a Ron Atkin to say these were all his (including the imp jug/vase I initially posted). He used his father's stamp (Oscar Ridgway Atkin). Ron's now a painter (R J J Aktin - www.ragallery.co.uk). He studied at Loughborough in the 50s. Taught by David Leach. The pottery is at West Putford, North Devon, now The Gnome Reserve & Wildflower Garden. Ron built a 7ft wood-fired kiln in 1975-76. The Reserve started 1979. Ron made our pots in the 80s. His wife Ann Fawssett-Atkin (also a painter) made the imps. Ann says imps/pixies with a curled down hat are females.
