No. Its literally nothing like his work at all. His work is high gloss glazed all the time.

Thank you all, you are right Mike was kind enough to answer an email. It isnt his. He did use a similar mark from 71-75 but not as sharp. The quest continues. I'll add to my label NOT Mike Dodd so I remember in future, Got to love getting old!

Do not underestimate yourself. I think you have a very good eye. What it does remind me of somewhat is the work of Robert Fournier. But obviously not his. Have a look.
