It doesn’t seem to work with checking the forum for 3 letter words like MAC
?
No, it is a limitation of the forum's search function, but you can use google to search the forum with 3 letters.

MAC might well stand for the Midlands Art Centre in Birmingham. Which has long been running Ceramic and Pottery lessons. A student or hobby piece perhaps? But the slip decoration is rather good. Pity about the firing crack

It reminds me of Jean Hampton slipware from Wolverhampton. We have a thread on her. See if you think it looks like her work. Her stuff is also on Ebay.

I search with the line: 20thCenturyforum “mac” (or “mac mark” if i’ve edited the title and for two letter searches, but it’s not a mark i’ve come across before)
