Re: Rodger Dean
Yes - Relayer if I am not mistaken..
He did great covers for most of the Prog Rock Bands. Always seemed to be floating islands, snakes and semi naked women in them. Demons and Wizards from Uriah Heep i remember well.
Some contraversy recently as it is said the graphics on Avatar are based on Rodger Dean material...allegedly.

Re: Rodger Dean
Yes, remember his stuff well (by the way it's Roger Dean - no "d"). Probably helped to sell a million airbrushes in his day! Not all of it was well painted and depended on technique BUT his creativity was unquestionable. Obviously heavily influenced by art nouveau paintings of the likes of Alphonse Mucha. I totally agree about the Avatar controversy just have a look at the following link:

Re: Rodger Dean
just a word to say that Roger Dean is apparently living in Lewes where at a recent exhibition he organised fellow Lewes resident Arthur Brown (AKA the god of hell fire) set his hair on fire while performing his famous routine
