Matte Green UMBRELLA STAND
This stand is approx 52mm tall. The pencil writing on the base is difficult to read. I have tried to enhance it a little with PS. The rim was partially painted at one time but flakes off easily. I can't imagine that it was original?? Thanks for any help.

Possibly Peters and Reed, Zanesville, Ohio (early U.S. Arts & Crafts period). In 1921, the name was changed to The Zane Pottery Company. Style and design seems consistent with their output. Regardless, style, clay and glaze makes it pretty apparent it is from one of the many potteries operating in and around Zanesville 1890's-1930's and beyond (that's where the large deposits of stoneware clay were mined).
