Re: Shelley
1930's backstamp, well 1925-1945 is more accurate I think. Bought today as a job lot with the Portmeirion jug I posted.
Re: Shelley
I have the same jug/vase bought today as Deecee has - 1925-45 backstamp in green - lovely big jug in bright colours - I would call this 'Harmony' range?

Re: Shelley
This shape 932 vase is about 15cm tall -- Shelley did taller and shorter 'volcano' ones.

Re: Shelley
Four vases ranging from 13cm to 25cm tall.
They have shape numbers: the smallest is 955, then 974, 980 and 986 (tallest).

Re: Shelley
those jam pots really do it for me, I often see Shelley pottery that has nice aspects but those have it all in spades!
I also think the way you group pots and display them adds considerably to their appeal

Hi, Dan
Having a few together does add a bit of punch and grouping various colours makes it more interetsting. It's nice that this Art Deco ware is not trendy and relatively cheap nowadays.

Re: Shelley
but it still fits perfectly in modern homes so it just a matter of time before people want to own it again

Re: Shelley
I don't think i have it anymore since it was damaged. It's probably had the late foley mark judging from other online examples.

Re: Shelley
Three ginger jars. Maybe there's a fourth size?
None have shape numbers, but the tallest is 21cm, then 17cm and 12cm...
