I wonder if anyone can give me any information, history or value of this scheurich I have. It is 15'' high and I think the numbers on the base are 29/38. It is green/white mottled at the top going down onto a smooth brown baseScheurich Info 100_4016Scheurich Info 100_4015I

With regard to your pot - I can tell you that it's not 60s production, it's much more recent because it has the words 'Scheurich Keramik' on the base - they only started doing this in the 80s sometime (not sure exactly when) and continue to do so now.

Hi Pip

Many thanks for information and moving my query into the right section much appreciated.

I hope you don't mind me asking but did the three rings on scheurich appear in 1990?

Sorry Anita, what 3 rings? Your base photo is a little blurry and I can't see any rings. By the way, if you use the macro setting on your camera for closeup work (the setting with a little flower next to it) you'll find your closeups will be much sharper.

Hi Pip

Sorry for the confusion I heard somewhere that the more modern scheurichs had a three ring logo on base, I was just trying to find out what date they started using it.
There is no three ring logo on my vase.

Many thanks for advice on camera setting.

ah I see - I wouldn't know I'm afraid, I haven't bought any modern Scheurich production. They do have a website though (I think) - I'll go see if I can find it.

Hi Guys

Thanks again for your help. After a bit of digging I found that a few sites have come up with 1990 as the start of the three ring logo on scheurich.

I'm not sure that 1990 is correct but as I said before,it's not my field of expertise

Just had an e.mail from Heike Schaefer at the Scheurich pottery in Germany and she thinks 1989 is the start of the three ring logo on scheurich pieces.
