Vase ID Empty Vase ID

I've had this vase for 15 years and adore it, the glaze is fantastic. It stands 11" high, I have never been able to identify it, the base is marked 'England' .

Would have thought mid 30's.

If there is a faint outline of the mark (would expect there to be, but hard to make out due to the colour of the base), then there would most likely be a date code.

The glaze / wall thickness / base seems right for Empire Ware to me.

A nice example at that Happy

yes I have seen that brown glaze on empire ware before

Thanks Potty, I always thought Empire Ware but thought it was usually marked with the word Empire Shrugs

I think it could well be marked, but not possible to read, the way England is impressed, is right for them too I believe.
