Vase ID
I've had this vase for 15 years and adore it, the glaze is fantastic. It stands 11" high, I have never been able to identify it, the base is marked 'England' .

Re: Vase ID
I'd put my money on Empire Ware

Re: Vase ID
Would have thought mid 30's.
If there is a faint outline of the mark (would expect there to be, but hard to make out due to the colour of the base), then there would most likely be a date code.
The glaze / wall thickness / base seems right for Empire Ware to me.
A nice example at that

Re: Vase ID
Thanks Potty, I always thought Empire Ware but thought it was usually marked with the word Empire

Re: Vase ID
I think it could well be marked, but not possible to read, the way England is impressed, is right for them too I believe.
