For more information on dating Aluminia Faience from its backstamps, please see this excellent website: http://www.jamiri.dk/aluminia-mark.htm
Re: Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia Faience (Denmark)
I think that this dates from the early part of the 20th century.

Its the Aluminia Faience "beehive" mark; part of the same company as Royal Copenhagen:
http://www.jamiri.dk/aluminia-mark.htm
There's one for sale online described as a 1919 Aluminia Christmas vase.

Is it me or do these marks denote Aluminia Faience (Royal Copenhagen) 1920s
Hi
I only bought it because I love the Snakehead flowers.
Looking it up though, seems the FK in a box was mid 1920's...no year coding for the letter C though and I wouldn't have expected the paint stamp mark for that time...however it seems correct reads vibefeg I believe under the hive styled lines mark.
A flat trivet or wall plaque style, probably a cheese plate.
Cheers
For any help in advance.

I got some information from a Danish person, apparently Vibeæg was produced between 1934 to 1967

Royal Copenhagen "Aluminia". Marselis range by Nils Thorsson
I bought four items at an auction in Dublin. I know from internet searches that two are Danish , would anyone know where the other two are from or any information about them? I have very little knowledge of the subject at hand and only bought them because I liked the look or one or two of them but now that I have them they are all beginning to work their charm.
This one I know but would anyone know what year it is from?
Thanks in advance for any help in identifying these.

Re: Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia Faience (Denmark)
I have several. RC is a very good pedigree. All items carry factory and decorator marks numbered. Extremely useful. The factory has a long and prestigious history of producing high quality ceramics

Aluminia vase - help with artist's signature
Hello to all...I have just come into possession of this midcentury small vase from Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia range. The base carries the Aluminia mark, the dating mark is unclear. I wonder whether anyone is able to cast some light on the artist's monogram. It somehow looks familiar but my research so far has failed to come up with a name. Thanks in advance.

Aluminia, Copenhagen
I have this piece of Copenhagen with an Aluminia mark and trying to find who made it as the texture on it is unlike anything featured on any Copenhagen pottery websites that feature artist history. I know it is a grit applied coating but would like to know the official term as well as the model/mould number for the shape of the item. I would also like to know what year the item was made as there is no legible bar above or below a letter to help date it. Any info, however small, much appreciated.

Re: Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia Faience (Denmark)
RC normally marked their pieces really well, there is usually a number on them. Is there nothing below the Denmark? There is a piece on etsy with a similar stamped mark bit four figure mark below (Vintage Danish Royal Copenhagen Aluminia glazed ceramic bowl 1603) It would be 60s/ 70s, there is a link somewhere in the RC thread to a site where you an date them via those lines. Look for dating Royal Copenhagen

Re: Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia Faience (Denmark)
Hi, thanks for your reply.
So here's what i know > The A mark is the Aluminia Faience factory mark which was stamped in brown, green or black on pieces between 1935-1969. Under a magnifying glass there is evidence of something that was written in black paint around the base rim and some faded impressed numbers that could be 1479. The grit looks like it could be some kind of silica oxide. It has a heavy drip glaze, in the style of fat lava pieces, which has run on the inside of the neck. The closest shape of the vase appears to be what they called a ball vase.
I have looked at jamiri.dk numerous times to look at every artist and their featured work on the site and also looked at every listing on worldcollectors.net and there is no finish like this anywhere. So frustrating.

Re: Royal Copenhagen's Aluminia Faience (Denmark)
I suspect that it was a trial piece that didn't turn out as planned.
