The owner of this Poole fake thinks it may be a German vase, does anyone recognise it?

Re: Poole Pottery 1980 to present day
There was a 1930's Delft tableware range with a bluebird, pattern code MH. A Truda Carter design. Are yours that old?
Re: Poole Pottery 1980 to present day
dantheman wrote:I just looked it up in the Poole book, the Delftware range was designed by Truda Carter in 1935.
Sorry it's not my area of expertise as I collect post 1950's Poole but Gareth might have more info
Thank you I assumed it was very modern because I could not find it anywhere. I shall have to run back to the shop tomorrow and buy the rest of it
Re: Poole Pottery 1980 to present day
Above are three images of one of the Poole plates. They are marked MH.
I still cannot find any other images on the internet! Maybe mine will be the first

Re: Poole Pottery 1980 to present day
the fakers are quite stupid in that they don't pick pottery that is similar to Poole, they stick their fake stamps on anything flat!
