hi all, have just bought this in a charity shop and saw the impressed mark of GRETE and a number 2. On looking on t'internet, i have found there was a potter/artist called Grete Marks who originally came from Germany but settled in Stoke, England. I have only found reference to handpainted marks of GP for Grete pottery, but does anyone know if they used an impressed name too? if so, could this be from her factory? if not, any ideas?

for me it looks more that Grete is the name of the decor or form of an unknown maker
