i've had no luck putting a name to this studio potter's mark.  any ideas?

I doubt this studio potter made it into reference books,that handle is poorly crafted

Boughton House Pottery and Bowhill Pottery

The potter worked at both Boughton House, Kettering, Northamptonshire, and at Bowhill House, Selkirk, Scotland - family seats of the Duke of Buccleuch
gs monogram in a shield shaped stamp but their name is unknown. c.1970s
