Looks like an " a" with a small serif or line through it, I'm sure its British, lovely raku fired lobed pot. thanks

I see a G P in the first photo ... but only the G and no P in the others.

I agree with Ev - I think it's a monogram so perhaps GP or GT??? I'll have a look through my British studio pottery marks book.
