Gmundner Keramik, Austria
Hi all,
My grandmother purchased this little ceramic/pottery donkey/horse in Holland (probably in Amsterdam in the early 1930s). It's recently been passed on to me, and I'd like to know more about it. Can anyone help me identify the make? It has a marking which looks like "GK" with the letters either side of a plant in a pot.
Many thanks!
Paul

Its Austrian made by Gmundner Keramik. Google it, Gmundner are still producing today so there is quite a bit of info about.

Re: Gmundner Keramik, Austria
Cheers guys, this is good progress in identifying the item! Now I just need to find somewhere that has information on Gmundner Keramik items that aren't plates/vases or Putti!
Let me know if you have any suggestions for good resources for Gmundner Keramik animal items...would be most appreciated.
Many thanks,
Paul

German vase with green glaze interior. I think I like this....I'm not sure but I'm trying to find some information and not finding much, that I can relate to this anyway. I'm at a loss, I've searched the number on the base '11-20' and results have shown jasba Keramik. I'm not sure if the incised 'P' on the base is the maker, something to do with P Keramik?
I need help with where to go with this please.

Thank you so much for posting. I knew patience would prevail and someone would recognise it.
I really appreciate all that wonderful information.
Thanks again Micha.
Naomi, I know that feeling....(when a long term mystery is solved) I can't believe we just talked about things on back burners, then out of nowhere one of my long term mystery pots is suddenly identified! Wonderful 20th Century Forum.

Slightly dour floral plate. No idea how old it is, but the style seems some way from their present output.
