Studio Lamp Base

Stoneware, tenmoku glaze, potters mark that looks like a wart! Any help would be much appreciated

Maybe not the makers mark , Dave , maybe just part of design ,

Wish I'd had at IDeed properly, sold it for a song and the buyer had great delight in telling me it was Tremaen!

Great work - i have two of these (large and mid-sized) and have been trying to ID them for about two years - no mark, but probably a label that fell off. Really pleased. Davee, who is the abstract picture by that you use above your name? Very reminiscent of work by Allan Milner - on one of my flukier days, i picked up an original by him at a boot sale for £4. I really like his work.

Its a fake Ben Nicholson painted by the master forger John Myatt. Its not there as a statement on forgery, I just liked it.

I hadn't come across him before, but have just googled and like the look of his art, cheers.
