Toshiko Takaezu pottery
A small peach-like form, with a small hole on top. It is shaped like a water dropper, but non-functional. There is also a small pebble? inside, so it rattles; can't be removed. Some letters (unreadable) near the base rim. What do you think? - James

Some of the auction pieces are described signed TT , however this not to say she only signed that way .

Re: Toshiko Takaezu pottery
Thank you all very much for the reply. You're right -- usually Toshiko's work have signed TT, but I think sometimes her work contains the name of the title.
I have my doubt only because the layered paint on this piece is not as defined or outlined, compared to her other much larger pieces. However, it's always nice to confirm a "gut feeling" with fellow collectors. Thanks everyone! - James
