Any ideas on this studio pottery tea bowl , bought at malvern flea for £5 ,would be nice to find out as some of the big names get funny money for tea bowls .

It looks like a stylised 'S' to me - have you checked the British studio pottery book?

Think maybe a shot in the dark, but could it be Alan Ashpool, his early work seems to have been a bit like this.
