Lovely! I really like those, I've never heard of Bernard Buffet before so I Googled and found out that he was a French painter b.1928 d. 1999.

hated by many loved by many ended up commiting suicide lots of secondary items like drinks coasters and trays

With Buffet I just take the bits that I like and leave the parts I don't.
On a more serious note, his work - usually lithographs - turns up occasionally at UK fairs. I quite admire his work from the 1940s - especially the landscapes and cityscapes.
