Living near the Cotwolds, I often pick up local studio pottery. Here is another 50p  carboot item-a fantastic looking large jug with wax-resist pattern. Research shows that it is by John Jelfs and based on the "Swan" stamp it dates from the mid-late 1970s. Later pots are stamped "Bourton-on-the-Water" He is still very active and exhibits stuff along with his wife Jude. http://www.cotswoldpottery.co.uk/

Please help me to ID this studio pottery with a clear impressed seal mark. Unsure which way up the mark should be read.
The same branch and leaf decoration is painted on opposite sides.

Very 1970s look, well potted casserole or bowl and lid. Mark looks like a very plain capital N or Z without dots, bit glaze obscured.
